'Old Woman's Broom'

Damiana has a history of being renowned as an aphrodisiac, as its botanical name ‘Turnera Aphrodesiaca’ indicates. It can be added to mixtures meant for love or lust. On its own it can be placed in a bowl, beseeched to bring you the love you desire, covered with cologne for nine days then buried. For reconciliation it can be added to a honey jar along with Balm of Gilead Buds; Spikenard; and the name of your beloved written on a piece of paper and placed in the jar (a personal concern such as a lock of your beloved’s hair is also a wise addition); be sure to light candle on top of the honey jar before asking for anything special or before important occasions.
