Tabebuia Impetiginosa

Common name:

'Pau D'Arco'

Wild harvested from the Amazonian rainforest, Pau D'Arco bark gets its name from its use among the native people of that region who have long used it to construct bows. Because those are used for hunting and for defense, this substance is associated with those same attributes. It can be boiled into an infusion that is been poured across one's threshold to allegedly keep enemies and negative energy away. The spirit of Pau D'Arco is said to be a great hunter, and can be petitioned by telling its smoke what you need for it to hunt down for you, such as money in times of lack or love when you feel lonely.
