Reiki is a Japanese spiritual energy healing practice founded in 1922 by Dr. Mikao Usui. It is an initiatory tradition introduced to the West by Hawayo Takata. A Reiki practitioner has been energetically attuned to channel a spiritually guided form of universal life-energy, assisting in the healing process and aiding in spiritual evolution. Because this energy is guided by the higher spiritual power of the recipient it is said to do no harm, working only for the highest good of all involved. Reiki is an excellent practice for reducing stress, enhancing meditation, spiritual development, and compliments healing practices.
A typical Reiki session involves you the client laying on a massage table, fully clothed, while I open myself to the Reiki energy, directing it into you by way of laying on of hands using either light-touch on your body or by touching your aura surrounding your body.
I am a certified Reiki Master/Teacher in the Usui Shiki Ryoho and Tibetan lineages. My rates are:

REIKI ATTUNEMENTS/CLASSES
While different lineages naturally have different approaches to how Reiki is taught and practiced, I am happy to offer training and initiations (attunements) into Reiki under the original three-level form that was first taught in the West by Takata sensei.
Level One (Shoden) attunes you to the Reiki energy and opens your energy centers so that you may better channel that energy. This is typically used for self-healing, but may also be used with others. You will receive your Reiki I certificate immediately upon completion of this class.
Level Two (Okuden) widens your channel for the Reiki power and also attunes you to traditional symbols that may be used to increase the power, work with mental and emotional issues, and grant the ability to perform distance healings. A Reiki I certificate from any lineage is required for eligibility. After completion of this course you will receive your Reiki II certificate after you have attended at least one Reiki Share.
Level Three (Shinpiden) is the Master/Teacher level in which your channel is widened even further while attuning you to additional symbols that enable you to work with spiritual issues, as well as to pass attunements for all levels of Reiki. A Reiki II certificate from any lineage and the passing of a written test is required for eligibility. After completion of this course you will receive your Master/Teacher certificate after you have attended two Reiki Shares, and demonstrated proficiency in passing attunements in a private session with me.

I offer attunements in two forms: group classes, and in private (one-on-one).
Level One: $100 class ($125 private)
Level Two: $200 class ($225 private)
Level Three (Master/Teacher): $300 class ($325 private)

DISTANCE REIKI SESSION
Part of the power of Reiki is that one need not be physically present to receive the benefits from a session. Using the traditional distance healing symbol I will channel Reiki to you so that you may enjoy the benefits in your own location. For $45 I will set aside 30 minutes at a time we both agree on. Once you have purchased this service I will quickly respond to set up a time for us both to focus on the restorative power of Reiki. I will email you a special symbol that you can focus on for the duration of our appointment, which will aid in strengthening out connection.
