The Dream...

First conceived in a shared vision by the original owners back in 1989, The Mystic Dream (then named Dolphin Dream) aspired to be a spiritual marketplace and center, providing materials and services to seekers and healers from across the entire spectrum of religious, metaphysical, and spiritual traditions that have graced our beautiful planet over the ages.

The Hosts...

Since first opening its doors to the public the store has changed hands twice, and is now under the proprietorship of partners Chas Bogan and Storm Faerywolf. Together they are committed to bringing their particular artistic and spiritual visions to the store, while honoring the diversity that has made The Mystic Dream --and the Bay Area-- so spiritually vibrant.

Chas is an artist, writer, and craftsman, who spends much of his time designing and creating a variety of artistic and spiritual creations including Talking Boards, artistic signboards & divinatory boards, and even marionettes for Carnivalia, an online business centered on the tools and trappings of spiritualism, the occult, and the tradition of carnivale, which he runs along with his husband, Storm.

His spiritual background is rich and varied, having attended several different types of churches over the years, including Charismatic Christian, Spiritualist, and Pagan. He currently works with a variety of different spiritual currents, most notably Angelic, Ancestral, and Reiki healing. Click here for more about his classes and services.

Storm worked for the original owners of the store, and eventually became the manager. He stayed for 10 years before moving on to be a caregiver and to pursue his spiritual and artistic dreams.

He is an author, artist, teacher, poet, warlock, and pagan priest. He has been practicing religious witchcraft for over 20 years, and has taught classes on the subject for over 15. He currently travels across the US teaching magical spirituality. In conjunction with his work in the Craft, Storm works extensively with various healing and divination techniques, such as meditation, Reiki, and Tarot, among others.
